Day one.

So yesterday I lie on a bed while some doctors surround me, my mum holds my hand.I don't feel anything, with the amount of numbing injections i received, but I hear everything and I flinch as they tug and pull my thick brown hair. I started listening to the BFG on my dads iPod. A whole hour I lay there, taking off my birth mark took five minutes, but it was the 18 stitches on that tiny spot of my head that took long! I lie there and think of people who have to lie there even longer in a proper theater room having dangerous birth marks taken of, how can they be so brave?
My mark was on the right side of my head it was benign (harmless) but at some point it was going to turn cancerous so I had to get it removed. When they finished I felt tired and dizzy. I lied down for 20 minutes and then they let me go. They told me to take it easy but keep my head up. Mum and me got in the car but did we drive home? No. We drove to the cinema.
We watched Julie & Julia. It's a film about a famous cook living her life in 1949 (Julia Child) and a ordinary lady living the same story as her (Julie Powell). Julie moves house with her boyfriend for his job and she cooks as a hobby. She starts a blog about her completing Julia Child's book with 524 recipes in 365 days. She succeeds and in return gets a amazing career.
I love to cook but theres a difference between a hobby and a dream! My dream is to write I want people to read my books and say "wow." But to promote that idea I need a blog, I need you. Your gonna be hearing me a lot now :D

Thank you Julie&Julia you inspired me. x
